Global water mobility is rapidly advancing toward a low-carbon and intelligent future. As a key driver of this transformation, ExploMar’s first overseas electric boating experience center has been officially launched in Bangkok, Thailand, by its local dealer Thai Maritec. This milestone not only represents a significant step in the company’s global expansion, but also marks a pivotal shift for high-performance electric boats—from technical awareness to real-world experience and commercial application.
This electric boating experience center integrates multiple functions, including brand showcase, customer reception, solution demonstration, product trials, and after-sales support. Visitors can gain in-depth insights into the technological pathways of high-performance electric outboard systems, while also participating in on-water sea trials to experience the advantages of electric propulsion—such as responsive handling, intelligent features, low noise, and enhanced onboard comfort. By understanding the system from an integrated perspective, users can build a clear and informed foundation for their electrification decisions.

At the opening ceremony, Patarapol Koopitakachorn,Managing Director from Thai Maritec commented: ‘In Thailand, diverse water-use scenarios demand a careful balance of performance, range, energy supply, cost, and environmental impact—driving growing interest in electric propulsion. ExploMar’s high-performance electric outboard systems provide a truly sustainable option for Thailand’s water transportation and tourism sectors by reducing emissions while enhancing control, onboard experience, and overall cost efficiency.’

Building on this milestone, ExploMar is accelerating the development of a global electric boating sea trial network. By entering diverse waterways across different countries and regions, the company enables users to fully experience the comprehensive performance of electric propulsion systems in real-world conditions. At the same time, users can gain a systematic understanding of charging solutions, energy replenishment, and operational workflows—allowing for a more complete evaluation of electrification feasibility and long-term value in practical applications.

Currently, ExploMar has established a sea trial and experience center at Kuncheng Lake in Changshu, China, serving functions such as brand presentation, technical validation, and user feedback collection. With Thailand as the starting point for its overseas expansion, the company plans to extend its experience center network to more regions, integrating localized use cases and market activities to gradually build a standardized and replicable experience model. Through firsthand experience, electric boating will evolve from an abstract, parameter-based concept into a practical and trustworthy choice.
ExploMar CEO Alex Dong stated: ’We are building a global user perception network where electric boats are no longer just a trend, but are truly experienced, utilized, and validated across different markets and real-world scenarios. As global water mobility transitions toward low-carbon and intelligent solutions, this approach provides a clearer pathway for electric boats to move from being ‘understood’ to being ‘chosen’.’

Looking ahead, ExploMar will continue to expand its global network of customer experience, working closely with regional partners to explore diverse applications of electric water mobility. By promoting high-performance, zero-emission propulsion solutions at scale, the era of electric boating is accelerating—driven by every real-world experience.
