Lamdo Yachts eLY30+ Powered by ExploMar WAVE 300 Electric Propulsion System Wins Gdynia POLBOAT Awards 2026 Special Boats Award
August 11, 2026, Shanghai, China — ExploMar, the manufacturer of high-performance electric propulsion systems for marine applications, has officially established a strategic partnership with Lamdo Yachts, a Polish manufacturer specializing in luxury trawler motor yachts.
The Lamdo Yachts eLY30+ fully electric luxury yacht powered by ExploMar’s WAVE 300 high-performance electric outboard propulsion system, made its debut at the 2026 POLBOAT Yachting Festival and received the Gdynia POLBOAT Awards 2026 “Special Boats” category award.

By combining Lamdo Yachts’ expertise in premium yacht construction with the naval architecture and design of Tony Castro Yacht Design and ExploMar’s electric propulsion technology, the eLY30+ demonstrates a new generation of sustainable boating solutions that deliver high performance, cruising comfort, and environmentally responsible operation.

Lamdo Yachts is a Polish yacht manufacturer specializing in exclusive trawler-type motor yachts. The eLY30+ was designed by Tony Castro Yacht Design and built by Lamdo Yachts. The company brings extensive experience in boat construction, onboard space optimization and boatbuilding craftsmanship, creating premium vessels built for reliable and comfortable experiences on the water.
ExploMar focuses on high-performance electric outboard solutions, providing integrated systems including electric outboard motors, marine battery systems, and intelligent control technologies. Through this strategic partnership, both companies combine Lamdo Yachts’ yacht-building expertise with ExploMar’s capabilities in electric propulsion systems to accelerate the electrification of luxury boats.
The eLY30+ supports propulsion configurations ranging from ExploMar’s WAVE 70+ to WAVE 300 electric propulsion systems. The flagship version equipped with the WAVE 300 system was presented at POLBOAT Yachting Festival 2026, demonstrating the potential of high-performance electric propulsion for luxury leisure boating applications.
The eLY30+ equipped with ExploMar WAVE 70+ completed real-world trials in Poland’s Mazury Lake District. As one of Europe’s most important inland boating destinations, the Mazury Lake District has high requirements for vessel environmental performance, operating noise levels, and energy efficiency.
In terms of noise performance, the WAVE 70+ system maintained cabin noise levels below 60 dB at maximum RPM and below 50 dB during cruising conditions. Compared with conventional combustion propulsion systems, electric propulsion technology significantly reduces mechanical noise during operation, providing houseboat and leisure boat users with a quieter and more comfortable experience on the water.
Based on range evaluations, the eLY30+ achieved nearly 17 hours of continuous operation at approximately 5 km/h and around 10 hours of navigation at approximately 8 km/h. Using a typical inland waterway route in Poland — approximately 36 km from Giżycko to Mikołajki — the vessel consumed around 24 kWh of energy per voyage, further demonstrating the energy efficiency advantages of electric propulsion systems for inland water applications.

Alex Dong, CEO of ExploMar, commented:
“From system installation and real-world testing to winning the GPA Award, the eLY30+ project demonstrates the reliability and commercial potential of high-performance electric propulsion in leisure boating and inland water applications. This recognition reflects the joint efforts of Lamdo Yachts and ExploMar in vessel integration, real-world performance validation, and enhancing the boating experience.”
Błażej Predko, Founder and Owner of Lamdo Yachts, added:
“We are proud that the eLY30+ has received the Gdynia POLBOAT Award 2026. This recognition confirms that combining Lamdo Yachts’ craftsmanship and experience with ExploMar’s advanced electric propulsion technology is the right direction for the future of luxury boating. Our partnership allows us to offer customers a yacht that combines comfort, performance and environmentally responsible operation.”
As European countries and regions continue advancing low-emission and zero-emission marine transportation, electric boats are becoming increasingly important in inland waterways, protected areas, and leisure tourism markets. Regions including Poland, Hungary and Germany are showing growing interest in clean energy marine solutions.
For houseboats and leisure vessels operating on lakes, tourism areas, and environmentally sensitive waterways, quiet operation, zero emissions, and intelligent control are becoming key trends shaping the future of boating. The cooperation between ExploMar and Lamdo Yachts provides a proven reference case for applying high-performance electric propulsion systems in luxury yachts and inland water vessels.
Moving forward, ExploMar will continue collaborating with global boat builders and marine partners to optimize electric propulsion solutions for different vessel types and applications, accelerating the global adoption of high-performance electric boating technologies.
